How many people travel with their bikes usually? I have done it a number of times with the regular bike, I'd love to do it with the Norco. Obviously the battery is the big problem here. I was wondering what everyone would think of a crowd sourced battery programme. I don't even know where you...
Finally got bike back today, they replaced the cable harness which seems to have fixed the problem, time will tell! Fingers crossed been missing riding it!
Still without the bike 3 weeks and counting.... one downside to nobody having them here is that no bike shop knows about any issues! Shimano have looked and it and determined the motor is fine, i.e. not a shimano issue, my money is still on the charge port. Now waiting on Norco apparently....
I spoke too soon! Went for a ride today got 10 km's in the dreaded stop. Then started again on for a few more km's stop...climb for a bit no assistance ...uuggghhh.. start again, stop again, start again, then finally a E020 error nothing doing. Then after I get back home try starting again E010...
Thanks Dewi!
Got it back from the shop and gave it a blow wave, took it for a spin, bummer still problem. Go back checked again a tiny bit of moisture still there so extra long blow dry (using relatively low temp as I figure too hot is not good for it) and seems to be all good now!
Hey all my VLT developed a problem today wondering if anyone else has experienced it. I was riding along and the system switched off completely. Pulled over went to restart, went along for a short distance, stopped again. Did this again and then it wouldn't restart, after multiple attempts...
Haven't seen one but curious to know how long/far/elev it takes you to use up the 630 on the VLT. I hardly use boost but have never got near running out on my VLT. I'm not heavy at circa 68-70kg kitted up, so that probably helps.
It's fine as a general trail bike, I ride a regular trance and this bike and I think they are very comparable. Certainly plenty of fun on your average blue/red trail or even green for that matter as well as being capable of the blacks.
Hi All, I know the battery is "removable by dealer only" but how difficult is this? When I registered my bike I suggested to Norco that they have dealers with batteries that you can hire, so you can remove battery at one end and hire one at the other. That way we could all travel with our...
Hi Beezerk I'm in Australia not the UK but I can't imagine Norco not having a replacement dealer in the UK should something untoward happen to Evans. I have the VLT2, we only have the 1 and 2 here. I am planning on replacing the brakes sooner rather than later.Ihave guide R's on my non e mtb but...
I have a VLT 2, unfortunately I have a broken wrist courtesy of a crash so haven't had a chance to ride as much as I would like but much closer to a regular bike feel than the other emtb I demoed (Giant Trance) and I ride a Trance non electric bike. Hard to demo here in Australia too but...
Cheers iXi, only had one ride on it since it arrived in WA, had a sore wrist from a crash in Radelaide, turns out it's broken so the Norco is just an ornament for now :(
