Hi @Ganymeade ..they should be fine in light drizzle / rain ..however why don't you " water-proof" them with a spray-on reproofer ..something like Nik-wax or Muc-off or the best Ive used if you can get it online is Pluvonin by Ballistol .. I wouldn't be too concerned about overheating either...

Should have got a Bosch .. Over-run / boost is only a feature on the emtb or turbo modes ..

I like it all ..hills & mountains on all day rides & trail centres don't mind what the weather is ..but would prefer to start the ride when it's not raining / snowing ...if it happens to after that then so be it ..but hate riding in strong winds . I've never tried downhilling and probably never...
