Highly recommend laser eye surgery if that is an option. I had it in my 20’s and eyes were perfect for 20+ years. Doctor told me at the time I would eventually need glasses. I hit my 50’s and now I’m stuck with them. Pain in the ass, but can’t see for shit without them.

Really close to ordering one myself. Keep us updated with any issues. Seems like issues may have been resolved?

I’d love to take one for a spin, but there are none in the Phoenix area. It may be a patience game on this. I found someone out of state that’ll sell a brand new SL2 for $5,999 and ship for another $50. Pretty smoking deal. I’d be swapping all my high end components off of my Trek Fuel EXe.

Anyone else out there with some time on the Monterra SL? Very interested in the bike. The main things that have me turned off right now is the slack head angle and the long chainstay.

I met a guy on the trail this morning that works for Trek. He said Trek is about to launch a new full powered EMTB. He said it will be 170/170 travel with the Bosch motor and weigh under 50lbs. Has anyone else heard anything?

I went as far as to build one and put it cart and didn’t get a date. Maybe I missed something or maybe I need to go further towards a purchase.

So this looks like it will lengthen the reach by 5 mm. Can you confirm if this also works with the Garmin mount? Does it change ride quality by much, or only lengthen the reach? Thanks.
