Plenty of dabs, sometimes violently, more than my share of scars from pedal pins, but (knock on wood) never crashed on my eMTBs. I *really* hate crashing, so I ride quite conservatively.
If you use turbo power in narrow switchbacks, things might get a little spicy and you'll rely on the brakes more in places you never would on a non-assisted bike. Aside from that I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just start with Eco mode and work your way up gradually and it will be a pretty...
Caliper to axle is a lever, as is tread to axle. The ratio matters. See below:

I don't know how it behaves. Still, I've heard that it's not ideal to endlessly trickle charge once you get to full, and you don't want to charge to full every time if your ride duration doesn't call for it.
Get an outlet timer for your charger and try to set it to get just enough charge for your ride (or to get to a storage charge level around 50-60%) and no more.
I sent some inquiries to Mondraker and got a few details that may help anyone make an informed decision:
Seatpost maximum insertion depth:
Size S: 176mm
Size M: 216mm
Size L: 248mm
Size XL: 282mm
Also, per Mondraker support, "The bike is not intended to be used with rotors larger than 200mm"...
R2-Bike has a tempting deal on a Neat frameset if I could find a way to get it in the US without getting tagged with VAT: MONDRAKER Frame 29" Neat Carbon RR SL | Carrera Blue, 7.056,30 €
The issue is they won't ship to the US (most likely manufacturer imposed restrictions), Mondraker refuses to...
Anyone figured out how to see the individual charge levels of the main / extender battery on an SL bike without pulling out the phone and using the old app?
I can't find any display option that does it on the TCU display itself, and I don't think the LEV+ ANT feature transmits that information...
Love my Etrack 23. Carrying a spare range extender is important for big days on the Kenevo SL. I just wish the cargo area was expandable. Space gets tight really fast when you toss in a battery and need to store extra layers for dry changes of clothes and/or changing temperatures.
Has anyone retrofitted SRAM Transmission to their Kenevo SL? It's very difficult to find a suitable 94BCD chainring.
Garbaruk seems to be an option, but the shipping alone is nearly $32.
Interesting. I've been running 220mm HS2s and TRP DH-R Evos on a couple bikes at Mammoth Mountain and weigh at least as much. They tend to scrub a bit when hot, so certainly some warping is involved, but I never experienced anything dramatic. I wasn't exactly looking at the rotors spin during my...
As I mentioned above, the only thing I witnessed firsthand was Chino Hills State Park. Otherwise, it's my impression from reading posts on Facebook, Pinkbike, and MTBR.
