That's the price of progress!
A few years back there'd have been a whole line of trolls queueing up to tell you to RTFM.
Nowadays there's no FM for you to read! Certainly nothing provided by Focus, that's for sure.
When you buy replacement kit for Shimano or SRAM there'll be a little...
No. Some of Schwalbe's really cheap versions are labelled "Tube Type Only". I have some Nobby Nics which, ISTR, cost less than 20€ (that should have warned me!) and I didn't notice the warning embossed on the tyre until it clearly stood out against the white sealant weeping through the side...
Agreed! I have the Jam2 and my missus has the Thron2 6.7EQP. A mate of mine took delivery of his Thron2 6.8 this week (he's not a big downhill fan). The Thron2 is a very, very capable bike but is a little more upright than the Jam2 and more intended for putting in the scenic miles.
If you really want to wear that tyre out rather than bin it, run it with Tannus Armour and a tube. It's the "goto" solution for those folks who don't believe in tubeless tyres.
I understand entirely about the availability. I got a similar hole/split in my 29/2.6 Nobby Nics a couple of weeks...
Just spotted that Nathan's video had a link to Mr Wolf. Not only do these guards look the biz, they cost less than the gloves you're looking at. AND they'll match your dinner jacket!

The 25km/hr maximum motor support speed is to comply with European legislation (and the reasoning is explained on Bosch's website).
None of the comments above are made by EU citizens. You are free of that requirement. You are sovereign countries which hold all the cards. Therefore I suggest...
I've been getting email for this over the past little while. It looks like the raid will be going ahead this year from 13th to 19th June.
Not that I'll be taking part . Vaccinations are all but non-existent down here. The roll out is so slow that we'll be lucky to get our jabs by summer...
Do you use a torque wrench when tightening the axle bolt? The reason that I ask is that mine came loose the one time I didn't use the torque wrench but decided that it "felt tight enough".
Starting about this time last year, we had 50 days when we weren't allowed out other than to go to the shop (the closest one!) or to work (in an essential job) or to a medical emergency. My neighbour's dad got a fine for exercising his own horse in his own field adjacent to his own house - it...
Not sure what you have in mind. A Bosch Powertube has to clip into a "plug" at the bottom of the battery and a holder at the top. This holder does seem to be available separately for those who have broken them:
The lock mechanism then sits in that holder. Without the lock, the battery on my...
I ride very varied terrain a lot of the time (when not in lockdown  ). What I've learned is that it's not worth having the range indicator display until I'm down to the last bar. When the estimated range is under 10km, and on the last bar, it's worth paying attention.
With 5 bars...
