I found it very hard to believe you could bend swat tool like that while breaking the chain without damaging the chain while doing it ... I used this chain breaker feature several times with no issues. I still believe more likely this swat tool is bent from excessive headset tightening ...

More likely you have tightened headset too much causing swat tool to bend....
