Hi everyone, has anyone replaced the headset for non-OEM one? I had replaced the shifting and seatpost cables and guides, and I found the plastic spacer for the cables broken, I think it's a pretty crappy design, it's a thin plastic piece, very flimsy, now the steering it's a bit stiff, there's...
It's easier than it seems, with the battery removed (obviously), there are 2 bolts on the downtube upper side, towards the head tube, those release the connector, then it's a matter of fishing it out, to make it easier, I removed the lower bracket that actually holds the battery, so your arm has...
Don't worry, just remove the bracket where the battery latches, and your arm can fit inside de downtube, I've got fairly big arms/hands and no problem, you just need to undo the 2 bolts from the outside and it will come out of the downtoube, just remember to remove the cover for the cables...
Glad your service support works properly, I've sent a service request almost 2 weeks ago, still nothing back from canyon, I did get a feedback request survey email for such service ticket, of course I've valued as 0 stars....I'm never buying a canyon again
I had to send it 2 times, the first was relatively early after the bike was released, it came back with the latch already broken and because they did not check the bike properly, it caused damage to the connector and had to send it back again and came back with a damaged cable on the back of the...
If you want to take a gamble, go for it, but if you have battery latch issues, it's a nightmare, at least in my experience, the bike has more time off than actual riding, for me this is my first and last canyon bike, costumer service experience for me has been awful, sent a ticket last week and...
Sorry for the late reply, thanks for trying to cheer me up, but I'm not very happy so far, I had to go to pick up the bike myself from DHL's warehouse, in extremis, on my way to catch a ferry to Italy, it only took more than a week for a 400km trip aprox, but the bike was all over the country...
I'm glad for you guys, it seems like Canyon costumer service in your countries it's useful and helpful, not like here in Spain, I'm hopeless with them, more than a month to get my bike back, the first time because they forgot to mention to send them the bike with all the alarms, etc... disabled...
everything on the bike was normal, no flickering, not cutting off, just lack of power and at times no power at all, I thought with the silicon strap I put around the battery and latch bracket was good enough to secure the battery (similar to the zip ties some of you guys used), it felt really...
I had something similar before the second time the cut off's where coming back, it was like the motor was not giving all, sometimes nothing, but the bike didn't cut off completely, in the next couple of rides went worse until the cut off came back, I don't know if it's exactly the same as you
3 weeks with my bike in warranty service, at this point my bike has more time at warranty service than out in the woods....I've called several times to canyon, always the same answer: it's processing. I had to change my holiday plans in august because the bike was at canyon's, and next week I'm...
