Thats the problem!!! You can replace any amount of shocks of any brands and any type of 8mm shock mounting hardware, that WILL NOT HELP!
Only solution is to replace original cheap standard bolt to custom bolt with right (7,99mm) diameter to precisely fit 8mm shock mounting hardware. Otherwise...
Remove display, there are few cables and their plastic connectors. Wrap them with some foam foil and try to put them back with only foam foil contact with frame. Easier job if you remove fork as well.
There was written a lot about shock mount knocking. This is why low shock mount starts to knock after a while. Original shock bolt is only 7,86mm diamenter, while every shock bushing is 8,0 mm inner diameter (does not matter if its RS, Fox, Ohlins....). So there is 0,14mm gap. To solve this prob...
Hi folks. Would like to ask for feedback those who fitted and ride Ohlings TTX1 or TTX2 to Exe. Also would like to know if anybody rides it with 65mm stroke.
