    Which Lupine light with Bafang?

I have three basic lights I have used with batteries 7,4V in many years. I tried them with the 12V output on the M820 and they work perfectly. They are nothing like the really powerful ones, but good enough when paired with one on the helmet. Something like this, with a wide lens.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Thanks! Weight is 19,4kg, will probably be around 20kg with my enduro tire setup. I am happy with that, I don’t really have any premium parts.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Finished my bike, but after charging got "error 07", overvolt. So it seems I got the 36V firmware version, motor seller promised to send me parts and show how to change it. I guess that means besst tool?! So more waiting for now! ☹️ Took a short ride and feels very much like analog bike...

    Poor man's light E-MTB :D - LCE930 18.6kG

Hi! Nice bike, I am interested in how you attached the speed sensor. I can see some of it in the pictures, but did you drill into the frame pivot bolt?

I ordered motor-kit separetly, you can get it in either 36/43/48V from Risun Motor, price is now over 100€ higher! I think you can flash any firmware with besst tool, motor is the same. BMS is just standard 13S from aliexpress, BeMuchSafer

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I just cut out pieces from an old plastic cutting board. Then taped them to the batteries, put cellfoam between and finally shrinkwrap around it. I should have made them thinner because now I have very small space on top of the battery for cables.

    Bafang m820

Could you share what lights you are using? At 12V a small floodlight with wide beam could work.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Hi again! I also bought from this seller. Now I tried to connect the motor, and everything seems fine but the speed sensor seems wrong. I got a four pin cable connection, but the motor has an eight pin connector for the speed sensor.. Can someone confirm what the correct speed sensor cable looks...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I have had so much help and inspiration from this forum, thank you all for that! Here is my frame now painted and battery build in progress. Can’t wait to get it on the trails!

SCHWARZWILD Bafang M820 with LCE 930 frame

I just started building a 13S3P battery, but it will still take some time before it is ready. Cells only glued together weigh 2671 grams.

    Bafang m820

I will store/charge it in warm garage, so initially it will be ok, maybe just better to skip the really cold days. A bluetooth bms with temp sensor would be one way to find out the actual temperature while riding.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I plan to ride 29" wheelset on trails and use my mullet enduro bike wheelset on gnarlier downhills/parks. 27.5" isn't going anywhere so you be fine there, but your bb would be very low, so at least a shorter crankarm would be recommended.

    Bafang m820

Ok, thanks! Multiply by three because I have 3 cells in parallell, so three times the current.

    Bafang m820

    Does anyone have some actual info on peak watts on this motor? Building the battery soon and I have 13S3P configuration, with INR21700-M50LT cells. They can manage 14,4A, but in lower temperatures only 2,4A! -20 … +10°C: 2400 mA (2,4 A) +10 … +25°C: 14400 mA (14,4 A) +25 … +55°C: 7200 mA (7,2...

SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

The standard cranks seems very “straight” so must have low offset

With shorter crank I would say you need/are able to use longer dropper post for maximum clearance.

Is there a difference between ISIS cranks? I have seen here on the different M820 threads that people have trouble finding cranks. Still you can find lots of ISIS cranks in any bike store.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Correct me someone if I am wrong but I believe it is only compatible with Bafang GO app, not GO+.
