Not the CEF50, but the LCE930, so similar in many ways. Roughly 0,5-1 degree less headangle is what you get when converting any full 29" to mullet.
First one is 29"
Second is same bike as mullet, 2,8"X27.5" rear tire
After riding both I like the full 29" more, at least on trails, mostly...
I use the Prowheel 152mm crank. Q-factor is higher then original. It is about 11 mm more per side compared to original bafang.
I definitely like the short crank, but q-factor is maybe too much, I am searching for some around 155-160 mm long with lower q-factor. Preferebly aluminium.
With the...
And everything is relative of course, we have had -30 degrees for the last week in Finland! 😁 But coldest have been around -16 when I have been riding.
I have the 48V version, but I have not experienced that behaviour. Since it is cold here now I probably don't get overheating issues, even if I have done some testing on full boost and really trying to push as much as possible.
I don’t know the available space for the cef50, but you can make a diy 800Wh in the lce930 so that should be enough.
The long chainstay makes lifting the front wheel harder, also since battery is making the front heavier. It is something you get used to. I came from analogue bike so difference...
Clearly this is a motor to be ridden like a normal bicycle. If you don't put in the work, it wont help you much. I was looking for a light ebike and this is a really good one. It is inspiring you to push full all the time. Since the bike(LCE930) is fairly light it is also fun to ride and easy to...
You will get 170mm cranks with the motor-kit. In my opinion they are a bit long, but that is personal preference of course.
410Wh battery is for 43V and 360Wh is for 36V version. 43V is some kind of Bafang speciality. 36V it would be easy to find range-extender later.
Are you sure your cassette in mounted correct? For me it is not rubbing, but I seem to have a few mm of space next to the cassette. It is a shimano 11-speed cassette.
If you have good contact with bafang you should report to them that the GO+ app is "updating" all firmwares to 36V versions even if normally running 43V or 48V!
Hi
The LCE929 has shorter chainstays, that is the only significant difference in geo. The LCE930 can fit a full size waterbottle.
The toptube on the LCE929 does look nice but the shock is actually more or less same size. The 185mm shock is a trunnion size that is why the total length is...
So I have been playing around with GO+ on the M820 motor. One thing that seems odd is the update function. It keeps reminding me to update to new firmware, but the suggested firmware is 36V and I am using 48V. Maybe this is not really ready yet..
As mentioned here before, I think you will be happy with either. I chose the LCE930, but I think the CEF50 is just as good.
For me it came down to a few things. LCE930 looks better, but only have 410Wh battery, I built my own battery so got more juice anyway. And then I had a shock already in...
I would like that, but I don't have it(seriously considering buying it now though). They said they will send me new controller and display. I don't know if I actually need a new display but that is what they said.
I got a message from fedex about I kg package on the way so I hope this is it.
I got a spider with my motor with 104bcd. I don't know where you can buy the original, but for example Miranda makes them for bosch motors that might fit:
