Yes, that's right and I started an email conversation with them and asked them if they could reserve one of their latches for me (look how far I'm at, pre-ordering without asking about the cost!!!). They are a bit very monosyllabic, they just repeat yes, but it will come later and you can't...
No, I'm not saying you're lying at all! But you can't say anything about the latch problem at just 200 miles... Please read the forum here. Most people think that putting in the new latch will solve all the problems. But for many people the problem recurs after 500 to 1000 km (I'm not saying it...
I would (really, really and honestly) love to believe that, but unfortunately there are others who have had the problem after a while despite having a new latch. In principle, this is to be expected, because the two small additional "struts" cannot seriously be a solution to the problem. The...
Fully agree to all of this. But there is one "small" issue with it: the battery latch problem always prevents me from using the full potential of this extremely good bike (it is meanwhile a kind of latch protection built into my brain...).
I tried something like that too. Please be careful. If the foam is stuck tightly (so that the battery can no longer move), then it will be very, very difficult to get the foam or the battery or both out again!
OK thanks. That was a very long and detailed explanation and I am grateful for it. After all that, I can understand that you don't want to describe the solution yet because there is of course the risk that it won't really solve the problem permanently. I also thought of a solution to restrict...
Can you please tell us how you secured the battery from moving sideways? If several people try this and it works, there is even more certainty that the solution will help.
I think you should also mention what size battery you are using. The 625Wh model always had fewer problems than the 750Wh model because it is 680 grams lighter. This can make a big difference in tough enduro use.
That looks great and there are even metal parts underneath, wow!
Do you sell that? How long did you test your solution under real working (riding) conditions?
If you have HOPE brakes you should also use the HOPE rotors. Have you seen the HOPE rotors (especially the floating ones)? Have a look, then you know what's wrong about the (SRAM) rotors.... 😂😂
Yes, because there is no "Q-factor" of the cranks. It can be influenced by the cranks, if they are bent more or less outside. You can easily measure the Q-factor. For a short instruction, please see here:
Hi all, I'm new here, but not to mountain biking. Riding MTB for around 25 years and E-MTB for around 5 years now. I live in Switzerland, which is almost ideal for MTB (assuming you can break away from your job)... Like Rob's videos on YouTube and recently bought a Strive:On CFR alongside my YT...
Got my Strive:On CFR two days ago (ordered it at 23rd of December 2023), but couldn't unbox it until today. I ordered a reduced bike in the outlet, unridden but with minor paint damage. Was super surprised that everything was like new, no scratches, nothing. Only in the area of the upper screw...
