As with gary, steve and mikerb. My legs get tired standing up but they won't get stronger sitting down , but my knees are good. I'm also trying to be more active on my bike and "work it". If I sit down, I kind of veg out :(. I can also veg out standing - too upright and not active. I...
I've just heard this, and before reading the subsequent comments assumed it was the chain. And whatever it is, it is every link. So, the simple stuff first: thick thin chain ring - is it set right? The chain guide - is it rubbing? Note with the chain guide; you can adjust it while the bike is...
gear cables? I have the originals on my acoustics circa 2012 . I've never taken car, motorbike or pushy in for a service. Always bought new and serviced myself; I like to have some confidence in what I'm riding / driving :). I know there are some awesome mechanics, but one of those...
It could have been too loose, come looser on the ride and wear out the thread in the crank, which is soft. If you have a multi tool, it may have a hex bit large enough to get you out of trouble, next time.
:ROFLMAO: This video just came out! Emtb specific. I'm guessing it'll just confirm what you've already learned :). Although I disagree with the upswept back theory - he says needed for ebikes because of steeper climbing. I climb steep - it's really a big feature of where I live. I have the seat...
Good luck steve. I'm guessing the width will be good. I also found my partner's saddle which I really like and it's cheap. She is tiny (4'11") so probably close to our size. They vary in price but from ebay or aliexpress around $30 - otherwise up to $80 or $90. They are padded but really firm -...
There's only so much a mud guard can do  :ROFLMAO:
I have a merida and it came with mudguards. Never had them before and was going to take them off. Now I really like them - but I only ever ride in a token amount of mud :ROFLMAO:. I have a mudguard on my dropper though - that's very...
That's my thinking zimmer. Also that cars aren't the almighty king of everything. I have a van and motorbikes and love them, but I think it's time that preference is given to alternative modes of transport. Time for cars to come down in the pecking order, way down.
in that case it doesn't look a good rotor for your pad shape / coverage, or vice versa. Ideally you'd want the pad covering those holes with some overlap. It looks as though the pads are just barely overlapping the bottom some of the holes and possibly not overlapping on others? If that is so, I...
Assegai is definitely smaller than dhf - I have that on the front now for winter. I'll get the 2.6 (now on 2.5) next time. Although it's more the height that I like in high volume. Good to know about the ewild - thanks.
why won't the front wheel spin? Is it because some of the pad hasn't been contacting the rotor and now there is a step in the pads? ie remove the washer, pads drop down a bit lower and now have some unused pad area at the top contacting the rotor?
If this is the case, at some point the pads...
you guys with the e wild - how does the volume compare to dhr/dhf? I did look at these, online just haven't seen them in person to check out the volume.
