It looks great. I looked up the geo on it, that looks great too. I think that "cover" on your chain ring could be a bash guard; don't be in a hurry to remove it.
What are the pedals? If they're plastic you might want to replace them asap - before they get wet . Many pedal...
I think it's because the fork is a funny thing ?. I did try locking the fork out years ago with a hardtail that I use for urban duties, and concluded that it was wasted on me. Climbing; I do lots of that here, and descending - Tasmania is all hills and mountains. I use the flip switch on the...
I agree with this, because we're in Australia. Merida has to be one of the best value bikes here. I'd also suggest polygon @ around $8000 (not the cheaper one); it looks pretty good! Very short rear end. Smaller battery though (504w) which is stacks for me.
Incidentally; one of the things I...
Have a look at this video - it might give you some ideas of where to look. This dude is an awesome rider; he's also knowledgable and able to identify why a bike is good at this or no good at that. For example, I'm guessing your mate's hardtail has short chainstay, slack head angle, steep seat...
That is something I have never looked at. I think I must have initially, enough to see it had no value.
Shimano e8000 with 7000 display.
I only do partial charges most of the time, like 70 - 80%, if that means anything.
DMR only seem to do 26" which is a pity. My partner has a moto digger on the back of a 24" (dhf on the front) full suspension bike - it rolls well, has nice volume, and works great around here. It's also OK on the road. They (dmr) only seem to have one tyre now, which looks a great dual sport...
Marys look nice - I think I need more transition knobs if it's going to be wet :). All my riding is steep up and down; I like the dhr on the rear. Mine now has over 2300km on and it still seems to work. Maybe it makes me focus more on style and technique when climbing, and doing the porpoise...
What about the assegai? I don't ride in mud as such, but through winter here there is some mud. I change to assegai because the dhf clogs down the middle. When I've worn my dhf out (that'll take for ever) I'll probably change to assegai all year. The dhf is teaching me to lean the bike more...
try fitting it with a tube and leave it sit at 40psi overnight. Then remove tube and try again. I only ever use a floor pump (Joe Blow); but pump as fast as I can initially.
was curious to see what they looked like, and found a few reviews via duckduckgo. Bicycles online sell them, as do Commencal in Canada and the UK. It looks as though there are many more places to buy, even here in Australia.

Try not to get compression and rebound mixed up - they are different things. I think you mean rebound - how quickly (or slowly) the shock returns after a hit.
I'm also going through a similar process to you. I initially removed the tokens because I wasn't doing jumps or drops. Now I am doing...
This is a video of some tracks nearby. They look about my standard, which isn't that high . I didn't know of their existance - looking forward to them now :). The same guy also has a video on a good skinny for practicing - just what I need. I'll post that too - not hugely exciting for...
