First time emtb owner here. What tyre set up are you riders running for the UK winter (Mullet set up.)

I've an assguy on the front of my NP Mega 290 (not mulllet) and when thae assguy is worn have a wild enduro to replace it, hopefully it's a good choice 🤞 also running a dissector rear (although maybe not a great wet / mud tyre?) - nearly all ridden in BPW🙃 Rich.

Rail (750Wh) Trek Rail 9.8 2022 Rear Hub changed - after 300 miles!!!

theres a bit of a reputation around the rear axle bearings used on the rails, my 2022 Rail5 had rear looseness after ~30 miles so I stripped / cleaned / greased / reset preload (y) about 150 miles later I felt that dreadded wobble again🤨 so I replaced the wheels (Nukeproof Nutron c/o Wiggle🙃)...

why such low pressures in the Zeb's?

set sag & try for comfort, suggested pressures are just a starting point (y) ^^This (y) not 'Zeb' related but... I'm running a 37mm Manitou Mezzer on my 'keep-fit' Nukeproof Mega @ 180mm (+10mm over spec.) and it's really comfortable even over rockgardens & drops😎 it's running ~63psi in...

I think the best way to describe my tool storage is that theyr'e Spread around like a mad-woman's shit :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: mtb tools are in a plastic storage box that is too small so some regulars like allen-keys are in our cycling backpacks. general tools, do I include the Lathes...

    Welsh 20mph speed limit

most people ignore limits anyway, some drive @ 20mph, some @ 30mph and a fair few @25mph (splitting the difference?) some local roads have 20mph signs @ one end and 30mph@ the other - adds to the thrill of driving:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: wont be long before the tax collection speed camera's...

Rail (625Wh) trek rail 5 brakes

Sorta +1.... standard brakes (& suspension / tyres) are good enough for you to ride BUT also allow customising or upgrading as you please😎 my rail5 is mostly standard but better brakes are coming soon - have Sram Code Rsc f&r on my Nukeproof Mega & they are fantastic in comparison with the...

What did you buy your ebike this week?

had my order from Trek delivered today, now have the toptube Kiox mount to fit (whenever I feel like it 🙃 ) theres a little fettling to fit but nothing taxing... compared to the Bosch-supplied 'stem' mount, I'll be keeping that in my bag for an 'incase'🥴 Rich.
