Thanks - this is the right answer... under the left grip the rise, sweep etc. are printed. Mine is a '21 model, and has the 20mm rise bar. So it looks like the newer Bullits have a 35mm rise bar.. interesting they changed things...

On the Santa Cruz website, and on various bike websites, it states a 35mm rise. But looking at the bar, and comparing with others with a 35mm rise, I would say it's nearer 20mm. There are a few (unofficial) websites which do list it as a 20mm.

Am going to try some Copaslip on the crank arms, maybe with some Loctite on the bolts. I recently retorques the main pivot and all the motor brackets, but will take another look.

just took out my battery and noticed that my LBS, when upgrading my brakes, have criss-crossed over the hoses and cables inside the battery compartment. It’s not causing any issues apart from triggering my latent OCD!
To uncross them and lay them flat, I’ll need to get inside the head...
