I'm 150LBS/66Kg. Just fitted 190mm Zeb Ultimates to my Merida eONE-Sixty. RS setup web site says 61psi and 9 clicks. That was terrible. Down to 25psi now and still only getting 20% sag and 50% travel on what our US cousins call g-outs (for example in and out of a V gulley). Not very smooth over...
One day I'll get out with some of you fellas but we're off to Whinlatter on Sunday so won't have time to sleep AND watch my battery recharge for 6 hours! (Toonie). Have a great ride in wild, woolly and beautiful Northumberland.
I knocked this up at home. Get one made up at a local machine shop. The axle filler is solid 6065 aluminium (aloominum!) tapped for M10 countersunk stainless set screws torqued up to whatever I thought felt snug. Alloy end caps are from Amazon/China and loctited in. I also fitted Miranda 155mm...
This and similar threads would have to be written in Japanese before Shimano would notice :geek: Meantime I'm happy with my five ride old never wetted EP8.
This is my somewhat aged Garmin Oregon 450. Modded with a spare Cree torch cable to get rid of the useless AA batteries. I got two big 3.2volt Lithium cells from RS Components in the UK and made up a weatherproof battery box using a couple of condoms, both fit to the bars and it lasts forever...
Crikey, yes I was up there, small world! I hope you're all good marra. Got a video of our wheelbarrow test through that section somewhere. I've never been back since it completed.
Eco mainly for me, very rarely Trail mode and nearly always switched to "Off" on the flat and going down. I get home with at least 3 bars left after 20-25 miles and 2000-3000 ft. Spot on for battery storage before recharging for next ride (usually 2-3 weeks apart). I agree that Boost is...
Yes mate. Local rides every Thursday night (but a bit too far north for you I suppose especially after work) and regular/irregular weekenders. Some of the boys ride during the week if they're off, mainly at Chopwell, Hamsterley, Thrunton, Beamish. I'll try to pass you details of this weekend a...
Hi richysgc
There's a group of our NMBC folk doing the Stanes this weekend - Mabie, Dalbeattie and Kirroughtree, possibly Ae too. They are staying over there for the weekend but a few of us will be nipping across for the odd single day ride too. You are welcome to join in, as is anyone else...
@LateRiser when you say "drop the battery" what do you mean exactly? It should just drop out of the frame after 1/4 turn with the allen key then a gentle press on the stainless steel tab stuck on its end that should become visible, or have I misunderstood? It's worth using battery grease...
@InspectHerWheels
Take it out altogether, much safer for the wiring and yourself. It had me off first time I rode my 700 trying to make a tight u-turn.
DeWalt's new squidgy power tool battery format or something like it may be the next Big Thing, for weight saving if nothing else. Technology advances apace.
Does anyone have a full list of frame bearings for the 2021 e160 700 (ally) please so I can stock up? Is there an exploded diagram floating in the Ether?
