Assembling my E10 frame:
Does someone know where these four ~20mm o-rings should go?
My E10 frame came from Dengfu completely disassembled (it seems earlier frames came pre-assembled with a plastic rear shock spacer).
In addition to the five main frame pieces & shock mount, there's a...
Thanks Bram / just heard back from Melody with final two tracking numbers and the motor is on board for delivery today, and the battery somewhere on the Australian side of Sydney customs.
Just for other Australians' reference, this is my order / shipping / delivery timeline to Australia / Tas...
Like @bram.biesiekierski I'm also in Australia. Ordered E10 from Dengfu at end of March, frame arrived a couple weeks ago, then wheelset last week. Still waiting on m510 and battery, though have a couple of in-country tracked packages that I'm hoping will be those last two.
Although I ordered a...
@Sixdays, totally unrelated, any idea what type of rear light is shown in that photo you shared? Looking for something similar...
@SchadowMaster my gloss E10 frame just left a shipping warehouse in Hong Kong (?), so once it arrives I will post some photos of it here to compare.
@Hagbard and @captainhightop another very neat & minimalist button option could be to use Cell Cycling's NXS wireless 3-button 'shifty buttons', currently on pre-order for use with their new wireless shifting system:

Looks very neat and...
The choice to commute or not on an expensive eMTB is tricky.
Currently I commute on my DIY eMTB (Polygon Siskui 7.0 + Bafang BBSHD - all up far from 'cheap' but less than half of what a similarly specc'd integrated eMTB would now cost). Theft is still a real concern (and ebikes are targeted...
Just discovered CvK already posted on this back in January: :D

CvK are you still happy with the Satiator? Looks like an awesome piece of kit.
Ok, you've sent me down the Advanced Charging rabbit hole... have found this pretty amazing (and modestly expensive) programmable universal charger designed in Canada: "Grin Technologies Cycle Satiator"
Does everything we could want and more, including programmable voltage for multiple battery...
That battery is a great find CvK, I might also get a 12.3Ah for my (still to arrive) lightweight E10 build. Might be the final piece to get it under 20kg.
I suspect I might have the same Luna Advanced 52V charger for my BBSHD as you - and almost always limit it to 80 or 90% charge at only 2A to...
They can sometimes source an m510 motor, but they seem still quite limited in supply so often won’t have any in stock. In which case you can usually find one through another seller on Aliexpress.
Re: wheels & chainring: 29ers and 32t for me coupled with a wide-range 10-speed cassette 11-48.
I’m also 183cm and went with a Large E10 (still on its way). Also gloss finish, as I’m happy not to need to paint at the start. (I have also seen on the forums a few people 183+ cm who are happy with XL size.)
To order, compile list of what you want to order (frame, motor, battery, wheelset...
While we’re talking battery chargers…
I assume it would be unwise to use my existing fancy Luna 52V Advanced Charger (man I love that charger for my BBSHD bike) on the 48V Bafang/Dengfu battery when it arrives with the E10?
Neeko, are the M620 crank spindles a standard ISIS or similar, allowing you to fit the Raceface Aeffect cranks? Or are these still a proprietary Bafang type as for the M500/600/510? (I’ve only found these via Miranda on their Delta cranks.)
Wax, is that an Archer D1x or the SRAM AXS?
I’m planning on an Archer for my E10 build / very curious to hear what you think of electronic shifting as an DIY-eMTB addition once you get one. Perhaps an eMTBforums mini-review…? 😉
Very neat cockpit Neeko. 👍
I really love my Eggrider on my BBSHD / so neat and unobstrusive. I’m really going to miss it when my E10/m510 arrives - the move to Canbus really feels like a backwards step from a consumer point of view.
Is UART a big reason for your preference for the m620/600 motors?
Thanks Wayne – I have been wondering about this very thing, especially as it seems almost everyone has ordered the matt finish option.
Any paint experts know whether a gloss finish makes it harder to do a custom paint job in the future?
