Thanks for response. I'll check out @Neeko DeVinchi settings although the ones he posted seem to be the default ones for eggrider.
Me to please :D I have 52V, but it would be nice to compare settings and hopefully understand what's not working with my bike.
Have any of you had to update the...
@Mabman
What settings did you apply to the m620/G510 while using a 52V battery?
I've just finished building the bike and have had small ride but motor is hardly assisting. I'm wondering if my settings are wrong. I tried @Neeko DeVinchi settings, as well as Ultra Smooth Frey settings found on...
I'm not sure that washer should be cut (in two?). My thinking is that with each rotation during riding, the washer will widen and close on it's self by not sliding properly. Maybe ask Mia (ex Melody) Dengfu for a replacement set, hopefully they sell them separately.
As for the torque settings...
Yeah they really suck at customer service. I guess that is what you get when ordering "cheap" stuff from China. I tried my best to ease the conversation so that I could get as much information as possible. It's just not simple when you've never ordered a frame only before, you need to know these...
Hi,
I've finally received the frame. (y)
But it did not come with the battery docking and locking mechanism nor did come with the charging connector. (n)
I've contacted Dengfu (Mia) and they say this is normal because I did not order the battery from them.
Is this normal? I did order the...
@Neeko DeVinchi or anyone else, have you thought about opening a wiki page for the Dengfu bikes in order to compile every information that has been gathered? Something like what @BonBond has done with the battery build thread.
Do you think the owner of EMTBForums would be willing to add a wiki...
Thanks in advance for any info, i'm very interrested. Same for @Daxxie, do you have feedback? I intend to get one once in stock (and once I receive the frame) as I didn't buy any display. Also, I guess you have the UART motor as this display does not exist for CAN version motors.
The Eggrider...
Why not modify the battery cover in order to make a bigger battery case? It may not need to be as big as I drew here, but just enough to get the right amount of cells.
It turns out they have already handed the parcel over to the transporter, so I won't be getting the bolts or bushings. But they say I can order them if necessary. But they did offer me a spare hanger as commerciale gesture for the delay in treating my order.
As of now, they haven't shipped the frame so I asked them yesterday if they could supply me with at least the screw/bolt. Hopefully they will.
As for the rear shock, I got myself a Rockshox Delux Ultimate RCT 230x60 DebondAir2 so to not go the bushing offset way and the pinning of the bush.
I...
Thanks for the info. I was never offered any of these accessories when ordering the frame, apart from the headset & thruaxle. It's the kinda things you would expect to be supplied or at least offered.
I'll look into what you mean about the bushings & spacer. Someone here talked about the site...
Hi,
I was told by Mia (dengfu employe, Melody's replacement) that they have round and squared charging holes on the frame. I've never noticed any squared ones on any of you're pictures.
Has anyone seen that before?
Also do they supply the rear suspension screws/bolts?
It's killing me to wait...
Hi,
I'm trying to get hold of a a chainring but it's not easy and don't want (at this stage at least) to spend $100 for the ChristiniBicycles chainring adaptor.
Did you guys ever find the right one for an bafang M620 (ISIS type)?
What about the bolt/screw chainring dimensions, I've seen 6.5mm...
Yep, 21700 cell with 40A BMS. He specified it was a BMS 40A constant with 90A peak.
Yeah I can imagine it's much cheaper. I was supprised, I was expecting a more. The only downside is the BMS doesn't offer any communication, he said there wasn't enough place. I wonder if the BMS does not have...
Hello @Mabman
I've got a quote for the battery from Herbert but the price seems kinda cheap. I'm happy as it's a good price, but I thought I would check with you. What do you think?
52V 15Ah with 2A charger: USD235
Air shipping: USD 115
Train shipping: USD 59
52V 15Ah with 3A charger: USD...
@Kucko , Thanks for posting your components list with the your paid price. This interesting information allows us to compare the prices back from end 2021 (I suspect when you ended build) with today prices.
Inflations sucks
Regarding the battery aspect, I'm personally aiming for a 52v (nominal) if possible.
My previous ebike was a hub motor + external controller running on 81.4V (nominal, 92v fully charged) (22s8p Samsung25R cells). There were several reasons why I opted for this range of voltage.
For hub motors...
