I know, i know :) - but i've just handed my 2018 Kenevo back due to loads of problems and Spesh have been good enough to fully refund what i paid.
I know i won't be so unlucky with the e-bike this time (fingers crossed). But that new one is verrrrry nice. I keep thinking it may be a bit much...
Going for mine tomorrow. And i still can't make my mind what i will come out with!
Comp or Expert. But if its the comp, i'll upgrade the brakes to Hope's. But the Expert looks so good and has the Fox suspension. They have both in medium
I have to promise myself NOT to make eye contact with the...
Having had major issues with the 500 battery on the Kenevo, it's not something i wanted to have again, so the 700 was a given
Having slept on it....still can't make my mind up !!!
The black Expert looks good, but close up, those patches on the carbon look a bit odd, so a red comp is the likely...
So my broken 2018 Kenevo back to LBS (LL Bury) for 10th time and i've told them i dont want to see the bike again
LBS dealt with Specialized who have now offered a full refund on the bike. So that's great news.
Big thanks to LL Bury!
So defo wont want the Kenevo comp with the same 500w...
Well, my 2018 Kenevo is back again at my LBS due to yet more power issues. I believe they will send back to Specialized and looking for a replacement
So decision time. 2020 Levo Comp/Expert or Kenevo Comp/Expert
More trail riding these days, but downhills 'on occasion'. so i think either of...
Gutted
Has been with my LBS for 10 days. No power to the battery and the battery has now been replaced under warranty on Monday this week
First ride today and from the off, the bike was flying, even in Eco mode
After 10 minutes.....no power when pedaling, but the power lights on the display...
Very interesting read. So since i got my Kenevo last year, i've always charged it to 100%, having read the user manual which did'nt say other than "always charge to at least 3/4 full (7 led's)".
So last week complete loss of power to the battery. Been into the LBS and they tested it - totally...
I did 6km (30min) on flat to just break in my brakes on the new bike. Suddenly the bike beeped and turned off and did not react to any buttons.
Exactly as mine did. Eventually the motor was replaced and it's sort of been ok since. Except now i have a dead battery and awaiting a replacement...
And the irony is that when it's up and running, it's a great ride. I guess it's been a case of justifying why i needed one. Having done the black climbs at Glentress last August on my Bronson, and at the ripe old age of 62, i thought "i'm knackered - yeah, let's go e-bike".
Don't regret getting...
Well....
My Kenevo (purchased 13 months ago) now back in my LBS for 9th time
First the remote seatpost cabling completely fell to bits while on the trails
Then constant lack of power
No power at all (5 times)
Cant change through Eco-Boost modes
Complete motor failure
And yesterday, no power to...
Hi
I think this is resolved.
Joey: I downloaded that doc a couple of days back, much appreciated
Greased up the area around the backlash area and gave the seat area a thorough clean
I then released the rail clamps and the seat dropped position from upright to flat a small amount
Tightened all...
So when fully down, it points up. Fine
And when fully up or just below full height (which is where i ride it), when i sit on it the seatpost clicks down to level. It's that which has stopped happening.
Not long in from work so will see if i can find the set screw Joey mentions
Thanks Donnie
The bike is fully cleaned after every ride but must admit i have'nt paid particualr attention to under the seat. I'll try that.
Been out on it again tonight and the seat is tilted back (so sitting up) and it's a real problem catching my shorts all the time
Thanks again
Hi
Slight problem with my Wu seatpost
When fully down, it tilts upwards, as expected.
When fully up, it levels of when i sit on it
However, due to my height, i tend to run it one or two notches off the top. But it appears to be stuck in that upward tilt position
Just in case, I have checked...
My motor replaced by Specialized only last week (after 11 rides, 6 of which were aborted due to power failure) and all cables replaced also. Thank goodness it was under warranty and first full ride this year completed on Sunday. But the pine needles and mud etc inside the motor cover is a...
Hi EBG
When i had the problems, i assumed battery but that was fully charged and is charged after
every ride (or attempt to ride:))
When i change between either of the 3 modes (ECO/TRAIL/BOOST) sometimes i hear the 'bleep', other times i don't
The battery was removed and reset. No change
I...
Hi
New to the forum
Got my Kenevo in August last year
So far covered a mighty 80 miles in that time!
Lots of motor issues which has now been replaced by Specialized in the UK under warranty.
1st problem was the remote mode switch not working
Then constant juddering on the bike. Almost as if...
