Rise Up - What are your upgrades?

Ps, for anyone wanting to switch the rear brake, I cut both hoses and joined using a wood screw cut in half, then just pulled the new hose through from the bottom to the top. I didn’t drop the motor.

Rise Up - What are your upgrades?

Finally got the H30 (still have the wife’s m20 which is down at 17kgs) and I’ve made my H30 into a bit of an enduro beast, the Zebs are a good fit on the hydro and I’m playing between the db inline coil and a dhx Rc4 (216x63 with two x 2mm off set bushes) the brakes are Code ultimates with 200mm...

    Rise H30

So we’ve had our M20 for about 15 months so I pushed the button on a H30 for me, had some parts left over from when we had the M20 as a burly all mountain build so they all went on the H30 along with a set of code ultimate brakes. Final result (at the moment as I still have a DHX Rc4 shortened...

Is Orbea Rise M up to the task?

6000km in on our m20, the first year I had it built up as an enduro bike, Zebs and enduro wheels, coil shock etc and for the last few months I’ve switched to a lighter trail build and it’s just ace. Have done full on 7hr XC rides on Dartmoor along with proper DH days at Gawton and it handles it all.

    Watch out for e*thirteen cranks!

Fwiw I’m about 5500km in on my M20 rise, and the only issues I’ve ever had have been E01022 errors occasionally, cranks have been fine, I’ve checked them regularly and had zero issues.

Is the orbea Rise suspension progressive?

Yes I tried quite a few springs, the one I wanted to use was the Cane creek progressive coils 450-550 but it rubbed the coating on the spring on the underside of the frame. Not massively I could have rubbed all the coating off and it would have been ok but I wanted the white spring to match the...
