i never thought I’d see agile and e bike in the same sentence, but yes you’re dead right. My E150 is way faster in turns than my Yeti ASR.

Rode with a chap on a 19 Levo and seemed a lot more powerful than the Whyte. Had to ride it in ‘tour’ to keep up with him in eco mode.

WTB Tyres rubbish? I’m really surprised, I think they’re great even in mud too. If the maxxis are even better, I’d be keen to found out how.

Ah I might take mine in for a fettle then. Always thought it was a stupid idea to have a brake hose running under there, so easy to rupture it on a rock or something?

I tend to pedal through everything, which I never did on my mtb, that maybe some of the problem. I am going to try running a bit less sag than recommended. It’s an absolute riot in singletrack and downhill trails though, so a small price to pay?

Had quite a few pedal strikes and actually bent my right hand crank. Complained to my LBS and got a free replacement. He said I wasn’t riding my bike properly?

I was going to get the fast charger till I saw the price! I’ll make do with the 4A?

A note to anyone who has bought/thinking of buying. My bike came with a 2A charger that took 8.8 hours to charge from flat. My LBS website said it was meant to be the 4A charger, but when I checked on the Whyte website, that said the 2A one is supplied with the bike. My LBS has now looked into...

Right, just to update. Did a mixed open trails/single track ride about 2 hours both up and down this eve. This bike really is as good as Guy Kesteven says. It’s so sure footed and planted at the front and the low CG is really obvious compared to other e bikes. I’m an old school mountain biker...

I’d heard that explanation previously, but the rear brake hose is one of the 3 cables/hoses that runs that way. I reckon it would be better running it over the top of the motor.I can see it getting mullered riding over obstacles, but maybe it will be ok. We’ll wait and see. Rode in to work on...

Ha! Yes the cable routing under the BB area looks like it has been designed by a 12 year old, so gash seems a fitting description?

Yay collected mine today, one of the first in the country but sadly the forks went back to SRAM for a rebuild before I even got to ride it! First proper ride tomorrow. first impressions- cable runs are gash aren’t they?

Easily worth the money I reckon. There’s a whole ton of new bikes that are more expensive.

Well amazingly I still haven’t got mine out the dealer yet, one of the first in the country and I have yet to turn a pedal on it. Forks had to be rebuilt and a few other niggles. I’m actually picking it up on Tuesday?

Ok so I go to pick it up and there’s a problem with the Lyriks and the brake hose is damaged. Forks are packing down unless the pressure is increased, which then makes them too hard. Haven’t actually taken it out the shop yet. ? I’m sure it’ll get sorted.
