Haven’t fitted mine yet, this sounds a bit ominous. Any joy yet?

Clattering coming from new CX2020 motor

I read about this issue before I purchased, most of the Bosch gen 4 reviews mentioned it last summer. tbh it’s annoying, but the bike is so nice to ride that i put up with it.

Thanks for that. Incredible response time?Do you have an approximate idea of how long the countdown period is? Interestingly “the final countdown” is currently playing on Virgin radio- Wierd coincidence ?

Do you have to leave the computer on for a while after finishing a ride? I heard that it is a requirement on some of these.

Ah great. Did see the thread on the trailwatts section, but seems it’s still in development. I’m quite happy to make my own bracket too. I’m intrigued by the Simplon solution.

I quite fancy having a bottle sized back up job for longer rides, didn’t know these were already in existence for the Bosch motor. ?

I’ve ridden both too. Too me it’s not worth it. The Yari fork Is fantastic. You’d have to be a downhill God to notice the extra 5% that Lyrik gives. Granted the Maxxis tyres are better and I hated the 12 speed as the gear change was grumbly and not as smooth. The more expensive brakes were...

Also re battery. A 625wh battery is only 415ish mm long. That down tube is waaay longer than that. I reckon a 1000wh would fit. How cool would that be?

I need a new chainring as mine is worn out already. 825 miles do far. I’d probably stay with the 34 though as it’s harder to pedal after the motor cut off speed

I had the same with mine. One of the first bikes to be delivered and it went back to whyte before I’d even ridden it. They were rebuilt by SRAM. They never made any comment and yes they are pretty much the same as before. Having now ridden over 600 miles on it and also tested an RS, I still...

I don’t like the sram either, but I’m leaning towards saints rather than hope as they are more powerful

Curious why you’ve fitted 160mm forks. Rides so well as is and that front end is unflappable.

Ha. Just taken mine in to my LBS for the cable routing recall and bash guard mod to cover those mud enticing holes on the bottom of the down tube. I have an RS to play with for 2 days. I’ve been dying to find out how the maxxis tyres compare to the WTB on mine. Oh what a huge difference in...
