Hi,
Back to this topic and the Bosch's new batteries... Why is it better to use 22700 cells instead of 21700 cells?
I fully agree that larger cells have a better discharge current, but is this really necessary?
Looking at Panasonic cells, and according to Panasonic's safety data sheet from...
no no, it's not about that.
just comparing Trance E+ vs Trance E+ Elite
Elite models come with in-tube battery 400wh, only option today. Not removable. You can add extender 200 or even 250
The non Elite bikes are up to 800 battery and you can add also the 200 or 250 extender
Customize motor...
yeah, that's the point. light bike with low power or light bike with full power.
I was about ELITE bikes: 400+ 250 option: 650wh
previus ebikes up to 800 + 250 : 1050wh
whats those bikes max NM option??
You get the option and versatility...85nm or 20nm, with 400wh or even 650wh. Is up to you.
If you need more battery there is also "normal" trance range up to 1050wh.
This is a light weigh ebike. Light weight and big battery is not compatible.
apologices for not checking the thread properly and thanks for your answer.
Regarding that issue, in my opinion is not connected with the crack, at least not with that image...perhaps it's only the POV, but for me it seems like headset tube unaligned from the main triangle. The battery tube...
Paint or filler could crack also due elasticity issue(dilatation grades diferences betwen matrerial).
How did you realized about frame twisting, how did you measure it? did you check it befor and after notice the crack?
Do you mean lateral/side twisted?
this is not an structural issue...is only the material to cover the welding. Wrong procedure during the manufacturing...that's why you will face this problem even on brand new bikes just out of the box.
Don't know who in Giant said that, but both points could be correct:
1- If you pedal in a low cadence with hard gears it means more stress for the motor, which means that your way to pedal could produce overheating.
2-Is not normal that "easy" overheating for this type of bike, and stoping...
So you didn't get the update that I'm talking about....that's all.
You get an "experimental" upgrade, ok, perhaps it was still in a developing phase and it didn't work as expected. ok.
But I started this conver saying that a new update will be released soon to solve this problem. Time will...
