It sounds like you’re using the offset bushing backwards from usual to increase rather than decrease the effective shock eye-to-eye. If so keep your eye on it. Compression forces tend to favor a shorter shock eye-to-eye. The offset bushing (actually an offset axle pin) may tend to rotate in the...

I Liked your post, @modsheep , but not the air “quality” there in L.A.! I assume you held your breath for the duration of the ride ? Let’s hope the fires stop and the usual onshore breezes return and clear the smoke.

    Greetings from Nor Cal!

Fun times lie ahead, @Pauliemon (y) Well, once the air clears and the Natl Forests reopen! The Levo SL is probably the most "bike-like" eMTB and is a great choice. And your fitness will return because you'll be riding more!

Zimmer - I gave your post a ? for the upper photo, such an idyllic scene. I didn't comment on the unusual derailleur position - I thought it was just the way you set the B-screw in France.

Seeing @penguinni 's beautiful picture above showing a lush green Irish trail reminded me of a ride we did on the McKenzie River Trail in the Oregon Cascades a while back. The trail goes through old growth forest and has Rhododendrons spilling over it.

Beginner Friendly Trails in Moab, UT

We avoid mid-June to mid-September due to summer heat, and we avoid holiday weekends due to crowds, but if that's your ride window... Start early, really early, like sunrise and carry LOTS of water. The Klondike and Sand Flats areas are exposed and will likely be scorching hot. DHPSP will be...

Beginner Friendly Trails in Moab, UT

Hi Dave - Most importantly, when are you planning on going? Also, It would help to know more about your mtb experience, i.e., to define what you mean by "beginner", and what you're looking for. Dead Horse Point State Park is a good choice. It's very scenic, is at a little higher elevation...

    Another off grid charging question

Hi Al ? Yes @Dmurphy48 a 100Ah Li-ion battery operating at 12V should do it, but not twice. Assuming that the solar set up is 12V the 100Ah battery is theoretically capable of providing up to 1200Wh. (Watts = Amps x Volts) To fully charge the Levo's 700Wh will require ~800+W due to losses in...
