New brands, old ones going bust

Yes I've seen a few new brands launching ebikes with Shimano motors. I get why they have to use Shimano as they are too small to buy Bosch motors. Even pole, who as know has gone bust, had to buy Bosch via a third party. Problem I see is that no-one wants a Shimano powered ebike, so I don't see...

Review Shimano Linkglide 10 speed drivetrain.

All use 11 speed chain. You need to change cassette, mech and shifter to linkglide/cues.

Hey folks, looking at a Levo expert 2022 BUT >>>

Sounds dodgy but worth a look if local. Some owners/sellers are utterly clueless. My serial sticker has worn off but there are a few locations on the frame where the serial number is I think.

    Portable Power Stations

Yes that's the one. Dont mix up the jump and the flashspeed, quite different.

    Portable Power Stations

No complaints. Although be aware you don't get 1500wh from it. More like 1000wh based on testing with a specialized charger drawing about 180w. So good enough for 1 full charge and 2 lunchtime partial charges with a 700wh bike battery. Edit oh the jump? I would suggest the flashspeed being...

Discounted Bike and parts Thread - cheap(er) ebikes & stuff

Although probably a very small market, merlin are selling DT swiss 3 pawl steel freehubs for £22.99 down from £75, 69% off. In fact most of their DT swiss freehubs have big discounts. My particular use case was to replace the SRAM XD driver on my DT 370 hub to allow linkglide cassettes to fit my...

Kenevo Gen1 29er Front and Rear Kenevo

Yeah I don't understand that. If the original bike is supposed to be 64° or thereabouts and you raised both axles by 20mm plus an additional 20mm for a 29 fork, a 2.5° change in ha seems wrong.

Kenevo Gen1 29er Front and Rear Kenevo

Full 29 ? Ha on my mullet with a 40 with a2c at 596mm is 62° with flipchip high. Edit - of course the phone app I use to measure may not be particularly accurate.

    Price question

Oh I was basing my reply on UK £ but it seems you aren't UK, so no idea I'm afraid. Good luck anyway.

    Price question

Sounds way to much for a 5 year old bike with no warranty.

Hey everyone just picked up my first emtb a 2019 kenovo

Hopefully you got it for a very good price as if it's got motor, battery or suspension issues this can quickly get very expensive. Post some pics up when it's done👍

Sent it in for servicing before you ruin it further, possibly rendering it irreparable or adding further to the repair cost.

eBike up at DyFi instead of uplift?

I only ever ride midweek, so it's usually easy to get a booking a few days before after a weather check. I don't think I would use a pedalup option if it was available. I like the ebike for lapping short southern bikeparks, but for bigger hills I would use the bus every time. I have seen an...
