Yes I've seen a few new brands launching ebikes with Shimano motors. I get why they have to use Shimano as they are too small to buy Bosch motors. Even pole, who as know has gone bust, had to buy Bosch via a third party.
Problem I see is that no-one wants a Shimano powered ebike, so I don't see...
Sounds dodgy but worth a look if local.
Some owners/sellers are utterly clueless.
My serial sticker has worn off but there are a few locations on the frame where the serial number is I think.
No complaints. Although be aware you don't get 1500wh from it. More like 1000wh based on testing with a specialized charger drawing about 180w. So good enough for 1 full charge and 2 lunchtime partial charges with a 700wh bike battery.

Edit - of course the phone app I use to measure may not be particularly accurate.
Hopefully you got it for a very good price as if it's got motor, battery or suspension issues this can quickly get very expensive.
Post some pics up when it's done👍
I only ever ride midweek, so it's usually easy to get a booking a few days before after a weather check.
I don't think I would use a pedalup option if it was available. I like the ebike for lapping short southern bikeparks, but for bigger hills I would use the bus every time.
