My 13t started to skip at the bikepark today. Its been a year so happy with that.
I have a new 10 speed 11/48 ready to fit that cost £47.
Ideally though i would buy a 13t sprocket and just swap that out, but they appear to be very hard to source, or are silly expensive at around £15 on ebay...
The cassette is over a year old now and still working fine. Quite remarkable when i could burn out the 12t cog on an expensive sram cassette in under 6 months rendering it scrap.
Running the m5130 linkglide deore mech and shifter on 2 bikes.
I actually really like the dorky shift indicator...
Some people don't know how an emtb is supposed to ride.
I was talking to someone who was demo'ing a bike at a shop recently. They were disappointed it didn't do power wheelies pedalling out of corners.
Yes and no.
The kenevo comes from the shop with the 180 a2c at about 570mm, i guess to match the single crown fork of the comp.
The actual a2c from rockshox is 560mm. The 200mm boxxer has a 580mm a2c.
Of course you can set a2c what you want within reason.
Got my fox40 serviced now its the end of my riding season.
Looks like it picked up some grit since i did the lowers 3 months ago.
Fortunately most of the score is inside, so will get away with it for now, but I'll be needing a new bush and stanchion at some point.
Bugger.
Linkglide is a system, so you need mech, shifter, chain and cassette.
Linkglide uses an HG freehub, ideally steel, so if you have sram xd or Shimano micro spline currently, you will need to change.
Yes i seemed to burn though the expensive sram 11speed gx cassettes in double quick time, always the 12t, changing the chain at .5 and it skipped. Probably 2 or 3 a year.
My current 10 speed cues cassette is 12 months old now and cheap to replace when it wears. Ive just purchased one from...
If something serious, like the frame, breaks tomorrow on my 2020 kenevo, ill go straight out and buy another, either new if available or used.
There is nothing else on the market i would want, certainly not at that price point.
I did order a pole but luckily got my money back before they folded...
Its never turned off on mine. It was updated a week back but that made no difference. I just assumed thats the way the digital display tcu worked.
Surely it shouldn't be draining the battery though by a noticeable amount?
The 10 blue bar one turns off on my full power kenevo though.
A oneup 180mm dropper. The ksl is essentially a limited use uplift bike, so i shouldn't really be spending on it, but the 160mm was hurting the knees as it was too low.
Unfortunately the v2 was completely out of stock and i wasn't prepared to pay the extra £100 for a v3.
I then found one...
Droppers.
S4, 170mm crank. 6' tall, 32" leg? Dunno, been years since ive purchased trousers 🤣.
The stock manic 170mm was no good, far too tall when slammed, about 40mm above the height of my full power so ive just picked up a v3 oneup 180mm.
Measurement from centre of crank to saddle rail...
I can't say ive noticed a change on an android with chrome.
Certainly some sites, singletrackworld and pretty much all local news paper sites are completely unusable these days due to ads.
Maybe though Rob can give me a complimentary subscription for moderating his emtbforums Facebook group for...
Won't know till tomorrow when i get some bikepark laps in, assuming it doesn't rain.
I was just bimbling around today carrying my stuff for marshalling.
I'll report back 👍
I was marshalling at a local enduro race today. I took my kenevo sl to get around and Berkshire bikes were there, so i asked them to check the ksl for updates.
Loads of updates needed despite green ticks on the current garbage app. If only there was a way to see firmware versions..
Slow hand...
