as an iphone user i would never switch to a different eco system because of ONE app. I would struggle saving photos in my prefered photo app (because of incompatibility), making calls or whatsapps (because of sim card), etc.
I prefer using my old iphone for blevo, say an iPhone 6 or next year an iphone 6S etc.
And (one more thing) i prefer landscape mode. Portrait mode on a handlebar of a 6000k$++ bike is as ugly as hell, please ?
Sorry, i'm struggling with this too - how do i connect my Apple Watch (Series 4) to BLevo on my iphone? I've managed to connect the bike but not the watch. It is written in the documentation. Did you already read it?
i understand. than you have two smartphones when you are on a trip? how do you make calls or photos etc?I am an addicted ios user too but I just bought the BV6000 and Android app where they just act as a display (and nothing more) so it doesn’t act like a phone. The display acts completely offline. I have no simcard inserted and downloaded offline maps. So next to the display I just take my iphone with me too.

Did you enable BLEvo to run in background?Hi any ideas why Blevo would suddenly stop recording a route, as I just noticed the track recording stopped @ 6kms from the end of my ride & my phone had 60% + battery & i was on a open fire road when the recording ended ? Thanks
Yes I am using iOS & location access is set to Always for Blevo & it recorded for @1.5hrs @21kms then stoppedDid you enable BLEvo to run in background?
very Strange.. what happen after 1.5hrs? Did you go away from the bike?Yes I am using iOS & location access is set to Always for Blevo & it recorded for @1.5hrs @21kms then stopped

Do you have some pictures about how is mounted on the handlebar? If you're looking for a really good and discreet mount for the BV6000s then maybe take a look at Quad Lock. I already use Quad Lock for iPhone 6 & X as they make exact fitting phone cases for Apple and Samsung. But they also do the Universal mount for other brands/models.
Ive found them to be super strong and robust whilst at the same time being really minimalist.

Hi Neils, thanks for the suggestion! Although I like the design very much I doubt if it will work with the BV6000(S) as the backside of the BV isn't a smooth suface while I understand from the Quad Lock website that the backside of the phone needs to be smooth and not from rubber (which I think the BV6000 is made of too but not 100% sure) as the universal adapter mount uses 3M adhesive tape.If you're looking for a really good and discreet mount for the BV6000s then maybe take a look at Quad Lock. For then mounting to the bike:
I have only used the Handlebar/Stem mount (mounted on bars) so far and it gives the option to rotate to either landscape or portrait. I've always found using the supplied O rings perfectly strong enough but you can use zip ties which are also supplied in the kit.

I did a video but can't seem to upload it. You place the phone in a 45' degree position on top of the mount and then turn either direction depending on which orientation you prefer and it locks into place. To remove or rotate orientation you pull down the blue spring loaded collar and rotate.
There are videos on the QuadLock website that show it well. See the links I posted earlier.
Any advantage of using a BV6000 vs iPhone 6s? I have an old iPhone 6s and it looks like the BV6000 prices have risen over the past few days.
