As an owner of 2020 Norco VLT’s both shimano steps e 8000…. I’ve enquired about upgrading with the ep8 s…. or latest and the informations returned to say….

Unfortunately it's not compatible rightaway. You'd need to use an angle grinder to remove or modify this part:

And one more time: You need to replace the Shimano BMS in their battery to use with Bafang. They aren't compatible (yet ).

Build update.... Im set this build up for free riding, so far I can jump this with ease and the mounts have held well,. No play as yet and all feeling good, about 3 weeks of riding done on it so far all free ride sessions and very happy with bikes performance
