Did a ride after it rained and went through a couple nice streams of water. Decoy Elite had no problems at all during ride. Did a light spray down with water hose after to clean off some mud. Now for some reason bike won't charge. Connect charger as normal, display unit turns on then goes to the screen when bike is turned on. Removed battery, no sign of water inside. Reinstalled and still have same problem. Got this error message from Etube app. Can anyone offer input?

Could it be that water got into either the switch or the display, creating a fault? Or water got into the connections on the display unit? Strange it comes on but won't charge. Also, will it charge if it is off the bike?

Id blow out the battery connections and apply some dielectric grease. Then move on to the other connections in the display. Last connections would be the motor. Good idea to do that occasionally anyway

When I tiok battery off, didn't seem like there was any water inside. Will dry everything off and give it a couple days. Doesn't charge when off bike. Gonna check power cord. I live 60 miles from YT Mill, not sure if they can diagnose and service if I drop off?

There might still be some moisture with dirt (=conducting) present in either the charger port or the contact points on the battery for the bike. If you have some contact cleaner you could try an clean out any moisture and dirt...?

Turns out the small pin on the power cord was bent and thus not inserting all the way into charging port on battery. Battery is charging fine! Must have bent it will connecting to battery. All is good!
