Put my order in around the 9th of sept. So definitely a lot less wait than some people. But yt comes into aus as bulk orders through a bikeshop/dealer. So they would have had that order in very early im guessing.

Hope theres truth in the 8th! Its starting to get hot here fast! Definitely getting cooked on the analog bikes ?

Im based in Germany, munich. Ordered on 17th July and I'm still waiting ?
What was the last update they gave you? I ordered at the beginning of August but recently cancelled. Was curious if the UK lot have had their decoys arrive yet also

New bike day!

Bike came with the speed sensor unplugged. Pretty annoying for the first thing to do with the bike to pull the motor out to re plug

But now that's sorted im pretty happy! Keen to get it out on a decent trail and get it dialled in!

Hope everyone else's has turned up!

Congrats... the bike looks amazing! In UK most people are waiting for the bikes to be shipped. My bike was built on the October 8th but is gathering dust whilst waiting on a queue to be shipped.

Glad you managed to get the cable sorted. At least you had a good idea of how the motor looks inside. Was it difficult to pull it apart?

Enjoy the ride!

Hopefully the get there soon!. Its a painful wait!

As annoyed as i was at the entire situation. I found it very straightforward. It only took an hour at most. Am a heavy vehicle mechanic by trade so I would like to think I have ok knowledge of pulling things appart.

But I do think that anyone that is brave enough to start unbolting stuff will find it easy enough!

Bike is not here yet so it could always be a water bottle or a charger. It's been a long wait for me as well. I don't necessarily enjoy the process of checking my email every hour or so for an update from YT.

YT came through big time, new Decoy Elite arrived 12 days early! Got an email mid-day my beast was ready and was on it like a hobo on a hotdog! Live within 50 miles of their Mill in San Clemente and had to let my boss know I "wasn't feeling well" and drove immediately. Was the only one there initially when I arrived and their warehouse was packed to the brim with boxes of bikes as far as the eye can see!

Can't say how excellent the customer service from YT has been so far! Guys at warehouse were super cool, remembered my bike when I told them my name and even gave me items I ordered night before that was going to ship by mail because I thought I was still 2 weeks out.

Bike was very easy to install, best packaging and instructions from the few consumer direct bikes I have ordered.

Thought I would post a few pics and will take some more quality pics after I get Invisaframe installed at LBS and have some new components that I upgraded (SRAM AXS drivetrain, Michelin E-Wild's, Rockshox AXS Dropper, SQL Bars/Deity stem, ODI grips, Ergon Saddle and 220mm brake rotors). Will also post comprehensive review once I get some miles on it.

I like the first photo.....bike all shiny and assembled well in dedicated stand while BMW in background has tool crate, rags and other bits strewn across the hood!

Switched out a few components, still need to change stock tires to Michelin E-Wild's with Cushcores and have Ridewrap installed to protect frame. Going to have my mechanic bleed the brakes, trim cables and have a fit session.

Looking good!

What size rear did you go with? I went eWild 2.6 front and 2.8 rear and plan on installing CC as well.

Looks like you've installed the same saddle I bought as well.....is that the enduro?

Cheers

Went with 2.6's on front and rear. Have a 2.8 for the rear I will give a try after I get some miles on the 2.6 so I can compare. Saddle is Ergon SM Enduro Comp Stealth. Have Schwalbe Eddy Current's on my Levo S-Works and absolutely love them.

I’ve just ordered an elite. Anyone else received theirs yet in UK?
I’m looking at ordering a pro 29 as well as they have those in stock, but unsure whether to compromise on spec, although apart from shocks and rims which could easily be changed I don’t see a lot of difference?

Well first things first: do you want a trail bike or an enduro? The 29 has a different travel and it rides and feels different than the elite which is a mini downhill rig.
Once you know if you want to ride a full 29er or a mullet that should narrow your choice.
Shocks and rims can easily be changed if you are willing to spend around £3k on an upgrade.
the crankbrothers synthesis wheels on its own is £2k ...
To me is a no brainer. I still can’t understand how they managed to get such a price for the decoy elite. Compare the price with the Capra elite and the difference is £1k and they don’t get the wheels, battery, the shimano motor, etc

Oh and to answer your question: there are few people riding their elites in UK, I’m one of the lucky ones... ??
