Hi All,
Last summer, my girlfriend and I were riding in Austria and I noticed her bike had some "wiggle" in the front end of the bike.
I started tighting things up but without any results, walked into some local bikeshops and they said the wiggle was in lower part of the fork.
2 out of 3 shops litterally said "You've got a cheap fork, nothing to do about this." I had a guide with me and he knew the shops pretty good so I trusted their verdict. The fork also felt awfull during rides.
About the bike (hers)

Upgraded the rotors to a larger size, dropper seat etc.
Replacement Fork
Last week, I had the chance to buy a second-handed fork, previous owner mentioned it was used for a year and he sold it for a nice price.

I think it's this one: Random shop specs
Will it fit?
Okay, so this is the first time I'm about to change a fork.
(I'm trying to learn as much as possible by doing it myself or by asking a shop if I can look with them). Please bear with me
Some measurements;
As we bought this bike 2nd handed, the bike had quite a few spacers installed at the stem.
I don't know why TBH, I am still learning how these things affect geometrie and body position.

- SunTour = 54,5 Cm
- Fox = 56 Cm
- Stem
- SunTour = 22cm
- Fox = 19,5cm
- Travel
- Suntour = 140cm
- Fox = 150cm
- Wheelsize
- Suntour = 27,5"
- Fox 27,5+" / 29"??

My Question:
- If I install this Fox FrontFork, I would expect that the bike geometrie changes in a way. Right?
- But, would she notice the difference? She is 1.85, 60 Kilo's and the bike is probably a bit too small for her.
- Would she get any negative effect here since we are lowering the handle bars? Or would this be canceled largely by the longer fork?
- OR would you say, better to spend money on a larger bike?
