Hi anyone got any ideas on Heavy duty Work stands for the e-bikes....got a Park Tool Work stand for my normal bikes but my Levo will be to heavy for it...

I picked up a cheap £30 job from Halfords, its not the best but works well for the basic stuff that I do.

The problem with my levo is finding somewhere to clamp it the frame is deffo nit clamp friendly lol

Fitting a Brand X dropper post soon so can’t use the post for clamping....bit of a pain in the Arse

My problem is the frame of the levo no decent places to clamp it....seat post is going to be a no go when I fit the dropper

Should be able to clamp the dropper if the jaws are soft , that’s what I have seen on most stands , after all it takes your wieght so the weight of the bike is much less . I’ll ask japsuride to pist you a pic

On that cheap one I listed I just open the jaws enough to get around the dropper, tighten it up a little bit and then let the bike drop down a bit and the underside of the saddle can rest on the clamp area whilst its about finger tight. Works OK for basic stuff, cleaning etc.

Hi, both, PCS9 and PCS10 are rated for use of up to 36Kg, this should be more than enough for your Levo. I use a PCS9 with a Meta Power for servicing and have the same clamping issue's as you, but short term clamping of the dropper should not cause any long term problems as long as you let it hang naturally and are not trying to force it beyond its balance point you should be fine.
