Anyone got the Fox Ranger 3L Waterproof trousers?

I've had a pair for a while. Good waterproofing, although I resist washing, just wiped down to keep the waterproof coating intact. Thin enough to use on milder days too, comfortable fit. They have been snagged on something and ripped a small hole on one thigh so not super tough, still like them although they are the only trouser I have to ride in, so cant compare with any others.

No need to resist washing. Do not use detergent (and clean out the fabric conditioner dispenser too), but you can use non-detergent soap if you can find any. I either use a specialist cleaner like Nikwax Tech Wash, or just plain water in the washing machine. It is important to keep the fabric clean or the DWR coating will not work and either the water gets in or the sweat can't get out, or both!

NF is working on a jacket as well, but until that’s ready, I have the Fox flexair 3L water jacket and have not had any issues with it. Always dry and the hood fits over my full face for the rainiest of days.

Chamois, knee sleeves and a merino too layer underneath and occasionally an extra layer when it’s below -5° and I’ve never had any issues.

oh, warm socks are a plus too!

Yes but I find fit is so all over the place between brands that it needs to be somewhere you can easily return and item, I usually order the two closest sizes then return the one that doesn't fit

Hi out there, good reading about different cold weather riding gear,
I’ve recently bought a Nukeproof Blackline softshell, (I’m a big fan of their technical clothing having worn Endura, Montane, Gore, for years) and I ride in the North Northumberland hills and warm and comfortable and so far kept me dry. The best bit of winter kit I’ve bought is a pair of Showers Pass waterproof merino winter socks they are absolutely brilliant..... forget sealskins and the like these are the best socks you will ever buy. Their jackets are top quality as well..
If you need a repair or a new zip fitted to your expensive technical jacket or pants give Scottish Mountain Gear a look, they also repair tears in modern technical fabrics.

Here on the Westcoast of Canada it's mild but gets pretty wet, though plenty of tree cover where I ride, for temps between -2 and +8, anything colder then a pair of long underwear over the cyle shorts or a flask of cinnamon whiskey does the trick!
Top
I wear a wicking dry fit layer, then a patagonia ultra light down jacket and over top of that a Raceface light rain shell.
Bottom
I wear a pair of sugoi waterproof pants with just a cyle short under them, warm, dry and the pants have full side zips for venting if needed.
A tube sock under your helmet to keep the cold off the ears, wool hiking socks, and of course a solid pair of gloves like the fox ranger pro.
