Why use 1 Mudhugger when 2 will do.

Fed up getting my bum and back wet and plastered with mud on Lockdown rides. So I went for the large rear Mudhugger...and it does the job.
I had the Mudhugger FRX on the back of the bike......so I just left it in place and fitted the Mudhugger rear on top! So no wet bum....and I still have pivot/ dropper/ shock protection.
Better still on a dry day, snip 4 zip ties and the big fellas comes off leaving the FRX to do its job.

I found if i wasn't using the full compliment of zip ties i would start breaking some :( Luckily it's been dry enough for me to not be using the large rear one these last few weeks.

I had no problem with 3 per side. The FRX underneath is taking most of the bashing!!
If I take it off and then replace it sometime I will however be using be using my own zip ties which are wider/longer and I reckon better quality than the Mudhugger ones. I may even get 6 re-useable ones!

I was doing the exact same thing, I was going to find some decent straps to make it even quicker to install and remove than cable ties, never got around to it.

It's off now, hopefully for a few months ?
