It has been a very wet Spring following a very wet Winter. 2023 was wet almost throughout and the end of 2022 was wet as well so it feels like it has been bad all the time for a very long time
Nobody in UK will argue with your summary there im thinking. We're getting a week of decent weather here. Alas I was away last weekend so wary of suggesting anything other than a day trip , maybe Tarland.

I'm at 11356/18276 now same motor, time to get a major service soon. Just got an almost new battery for 400 Euros, the old one was down to 49%. I don't feel comfortable on the Portuguese roads...

I had my Bosch serviced by @Bearing Man last week at just about 4000 miles. There wasn't actually anything wrong with it per se but I've been off the bike with an injury, so it made sense to me to have it looked at. Now it's back in the bike, I can feel how much stiffer the cranks & by extension, the gears are to turn with all the new seals, bearings & grease. I reckon over time, the wear you incur in these motors is so gradual that you don't notice it at all. I can only guess how an 80k motor feels!

According to my data with Boost Francisco Calero Gallego 86600km with the same engine. The engine still sounds fine, impressive. And with SHIMANO Miguel Angel Tamaral is on his way to 40,000 km with his Whaka DUE8000

I want to comment with photos so that you can see the importance of doing preventive maintenance every 8000 or 9000 km at most, opening, cleaning and oiling will give the engine another thousands of kilometers without problems and not let it "melt". The first engine with ODO 23,430km was only used until the goose noise started to be loud, (it had broken gears). Thanks to Andrzej's know-how, he was able to save himself by changing gears. The second engine did ODO 9,000 km and Andrzej greased and only found a broken washer, (engine after preventive maintenance was practically new). Please, never use Kärcher and do preventive maintenance to save you a lot of money and pay attention to "goose" noises. Thank you for your work andrzejwodejszo
I have been on my 2019 CANYON Neuron ON for 44,000 km and with the preventive maintenance of the three DUE8000 I hope to reach 100,000 km

Mileage can be pretty meaningless for a motor. I have a bike that I really only use to session forest downhill trails.......meaning that probably for c half the mileage recorded the motor is doing nothing because gravity is doing all the work!!

That's a lot of kilometers!

My 2020 Levo SL is up to 13,500km and I plan to give the motor a full overhaul at 15,000km.
