No one mentioned re-setting the TCU? I did it and my MC updated itself.

Hi,

Thanks for your idea but I can tell you that I tried the procedure at least three times when I was having the connection issues for several hours last weekend. The bike resets but connection was still not available. Nothing seemed to help at that moment. Only two days later the issue seems to have solved miraculously.

When I had more or less the same issue 5-6 months ago I also tried the reset procedure where the bike responded but again no connection possible. Also at LBS the same happened after which they replaced the TCU.

I had similar problems in the past. Two things:

- Latest firmware works so much better. Had a december 2018 firmware at first and bluetooth was extremely picky
- If bluetooth connection fails I had to :
a) close ALL bluetooth applications connected to bike (mission control, blevo etc)
b) restart bike by shutdown and starting it again
c) now you can again open lets say mission control

It was extremely important that you actually closed mission control and not just put in the background (app still running). It would not reconnect ever again.

After app updates and bike firmware updates I dont recall that I have had any problems.

ps. using iPhone.
