Hi everyone.

I have owned a RISE LT for 6 months. It is equipped with a DHX spring.

I was quite happy with it but last month, I had an oil leak. The shock was repaired by FOX but I no longer have confidence and I want better.

Knowing that the RISE has very progressive cinematic, what would you recommend as a shock ? I ride very steep trails in the south east of France and I prefer comfort and crossing capabilities.

Thank you!

Fox didn't know anything.

they did the repair and I can go fuck myself!.....

after the X2 on my old wild, which had cavitation problems, it's starting to be a lot. I don't trust fox shocks anymore....

I'm looking at rockshox, an ultimate or a vivid. an ohlinns ttx 22m2?

but I'm lost without advice.

I've got a Vivid Ultimate, which has hydraulic bottom out, on a bike and happy with it. Works well, reliable and significantly cheaper than the competition.

I have little doubt that it can be installed on the frame.
but will it adapt to the kinematics of the rise LT?

The rise is sold with coil shocks so that’s not the issue. And the hydraulic bottom out will compensate for the linear slope. But you’ll need the right damping tune.
