I find these weights astonishing after moving "up" from analogue, does anyone else? I've got a whole race bike (not an MTB!) that weighs the same as these wheels! And would it be worth spending £400 to shave half a kilo off, aka £1 per gramme? I know before you say it, I already know the answer, but I'm here for opinions :)

To add a bit, has anyone on here junked their 10-51 cassette for a 10-45 and if so how does it feel?

Hub gave up and sent back under warranty the bike was bought in April 2021 they say shimano no longer do a 36 spoke hub in slx xt or xtr as my rim has 36 holes they are now sending a new hub , rim and spokes (32 holes) and the bike shop will build a new wheel unsure on what make components are been sent guessing a similar speck to original is this right regarding the 36 hole hubs !
Surely the wheel will not be as strong
I will be ordering a hope rear wheel as I am not keen on having to buy a pair from hunt
And keep the new build as a spair
