Wheel set for commuting (e160)

Hey crew, sick of wearing out my DHR’s riding to work on road and pavement so considering a second wheel set for commuting.
Has anyone done this and got some tips for keeping it simple and cheap?

Schwalbe big apples and 10spd deore mech/chain/cassettes will be your best bet... All dependant on you commute distance and location

I never used the wheels that came on mine because I had a hope set to go straight on so shoot me a PM if your interested, they dont come with the cassette but i do have a set of road tyres to suit shwalbe moto-x with less than 100 miles on them.

I use Serfas Drifters on a wheelset I snagged from CRC.
Nukeproof Neutron MTB Wheelset - about 150 quid.
