Don't make the same mistake as me!
Unless you really need the money, keep the bike. It will be great for those times when you need a quick run to the shops or around the corner. Or (EEK!) when your emtb is off the road for some reason.
I wish I had kept my Whyte T130C RS, I only got £1800 for it, I would have been better hanging on to it for my grandson.

Totally agree. Really cant imagine being without my analogue. I see them as 2 completely different but complimentary vehicles and sometimes it is just great to lose all that weight. I'm using mine more since buying the EMTB

Sadly I no longer have an analogue bike. I had sold my YT Capra 2015 at the end of 2018 to help pay for my first emtb. The pic below is when it was new. Before I sold it I had converted it to 1x12 (mostly GX Eagle).

I hung onto my 2017 Whyte T130C RS because I loved the bike and I could not bring myself to sell it. But then the emtb arrived and that was the end of that infatuation! I rode it one more time just to see, and it was awful. I'd been having knee problems (hence the emtb) and all the problems returned. So it was doomed. I sold that beautiful bike for £1800 but I have regretted it ever since. Two years later it would have been perfect for my grandson's 14th birthday in August this year.
Here it is fresh out of the box.

Steve ..was that Whyte a 2016 model bought in 2017 ..it looks completely different to my T130rs bought in July 2017 ( a few pics further up the page ) ..
I took a look and it looks very similar to me, the picture where there were two bikes and the T130 was on the right at an angle.

I bought it on 7th Nov’16 brand new as a 2017 model.

It was a 27.5" wheeled carbon frame, Pike RC fork, Rockshox Monarch Debonair RT3 shock, XO1 Eagle 12-speed, SRAM Guide RS brakes, RaceFace ARC 30 rims. It weighed 29.1lbs. As you know it only had 130mm travel, but it rode like it had so much more. I loved that bike.

None of them ridden nearly as much as they deserve, but they're not going anywhere. Sold this in 2019, nearly cried, made the bloke promise to treat it well

No points at all for that drop bar monstrosity ...and the Orange* ( dullest bike I've ever ridden ) ...but you claw everything back with the first two ..and even score massive points ..?

* I know there is a lot of love out there for these bikes and it's just one man's opinion ..but I was looking for a new bike at the time and attended a demo day and had the bike set up by the Orange rep for my weight ..it was truly awful ?

Not quite the top spec, I did not want to pay another fortune for carbon wheels, cranks and bars. Although I must say the top spec version I test rode was an absolute rocket ship! My riding buddy was on an emtb and to our mutual astonishment I was faster than him on everything except the longer climbs.

Variety is the spice of life my friend? Drop bar monstrosity was a bit of a bargain, now runs 35c tyres so it fills it's own niche. No idea why you'd have found the Orange dull, that isn't commonly how you'd describe them. Regardless though, the bike was truly special because of the memories I have associated with it.

Whyte PRS-1 ? Wasn't this once marketed as a Porsche, or MB, or some German car manufacturers "lifestyle accessory"?
Top bike was the PRST-1 , some call it the preston? Mine's the cheaper JW4, but now with upgraded shocks & brakes. A racer told me they snapped the forks on the PRST!

How many bikes have you got? You could open a museum, or a hire centre!

I call my leg powered hardtail the analog bike, but it is a Cube Analog, so it works ...
I've lost count of how many rides I've got (not to mention how many ive sold). But I'll gladly admit that Specialized know how to win me over.
Hardtail for life Tubby G ?

This is my Peugeot Randonneur from 1999, but its actually the 1998 model. I've pushed it up a lot of hills with the panniers on. Had to take the mudguards off to fit the tyres.
