What width bars are you all using and why that width?

I'm still finding that 780 is a touch too short for me.
May have to invest in some new Fatbars at 800 and just bite the bullet.
It's $NZ200 I don't want to spend though...and that's just for the alloy ones.

It’s a guideline. But TL;DR from the video below, it's your-height-in-centimeters x 4.4. Example

height = 5'7" = 170.18x4.4 ~ 750, so 750mm

What I do is cut it down to 780mm, try it. Then keep cutting about 10mm until it suits you.
I think this guide works better for shorter riders. I'm 190.5cm tall, prefer 780mm over 800mm, and couldn't imagine riding the recommended 838mm wide bars unless I turned into a chimpanzee. 🐒

I'm 5,11" (179cm)
Rail = Bontrager Line Pro 27.5 rise, 780mm cut down to 770mm
EXe = Trail One Crockett 20 rise, 800mm cut down to 760mm

Grips are more important to me than width

All my bikes have the same bars..Renthal fatty carbon. 40mm rise (I stand a lot when I ride), 760 width (to fit between trees). I really dislike aluminum bars.

Yeah I'm 176cm (or 7'8" for you people who still use Imperial measurements).
That formula just doesn;t work for me at all.
Yeah, at 7 feet-8 inches tall I can kinda understand. 😳
