Hi. Looking at replacing my tryes on my 29er for semi slicks fast rolling tyres.
Most of my riding is done on tarmac and gravel roads. This is for summer use only. As its pretty flat in Cambridgeshire.
Also I use my bike to commute to work on a friday. 17 miles one way.
I forgot so say it's a ebike..and of course I'll be swapping over my tryes in the winter.
Regards
Paul.

I like the look of schwalbe super Moto, but I run Continental speed kings on my 29er eMtb for long road rides. Quite a light race tyre but I run them with slime inner tubes, so it kinda balances out.

I have been running Serfas Drifters for several years on my regular bike and had great success. Not as good traction on gravel as some but way fast rolling and good life. Was going to put Schwalbe Big Apples or Maxxis Hookworms on a cheap wheelset I snagged but decided to stay with the Drifters even though they are only 29x2.0 and not 2.5 like the other two.

Have a look at the Maxxis Minion Semi Slick, it’s a tough tyre with good grip and fast rolling. I had one on my bike for ages and couldn’t fault it. I think it would be perfect for gravel.
