My current contract is about to expire so im looking for a new phone .
Ideally be my only device
So i want it to be my phone as well as run apps
Needs to be as bombproof as possible.
IP68 , drop proof etc
Big battery , at least 4000mah
I run BLEvo , music and some times Strava all simultaneously and they spank the battery
Looked at Blackview range but not sure if they are unlocked for UK
Currently on EE network
A strong contender is the Landrover explorer
Any suggestions welcome ?
Thanks

I did look at the Blackview phones a while ago, I'm sure they are unlocked though.

I ended up getting a Huawei Mate 10 Pro, excellent specs for the price, it has a 4000mah battery and it's IP67 rated but definitely isn't what you'd call a rugged phone. There are decent rugged cases available though.

Anymore thoughts anyone ?
Blackview range does look interesting.
I've emailed several suppliers about UK EE coverage ,all been non committal
Anyone know for sure ?

EE is either 800/1800 or 2600 MHz and according to the info on the Blackview BV6000 on Amazon it is compatible with all three of those, although it says 4G lte... ?

is Blevo really draining? Oh... or do you mean you need the screen on all the time while riding with it?

Combination of Blevo , tunes and Strava drain the battery
Its only 2500mah
I leave Blevo running in my backpack. Screen is not on. Just sends me audible alerts

I have a doogee s50 and I think it's ip68. This is my third doogee tough phone and for the price they are good. My current s50 was £95 from banggood and took about 4-6 weeks to get here. I had a doogee s30 before that and the s30 was £85 I think but it only lasted a couple months before getting run over, it still works and the screen is ok but it needs a new touch pad fitting. I would say the s50 is better because it takes better pictures and can except any micro USB charger., The s30 needs an extra long one.
