What mud guards are you using, if any?

Fitted my front mud hugger back to front so fills the gap perfectly to stop extra crud getting in.
My thinking is more saving the bike from crud than myself.

Just fitted the Crud XL to the front. Looks like a good piece of kit. Knocked a lower guard up from the old front to stop all the crap getting in the pivot. Won't stop my ass getting covered though.

Just worked out how to post pictures.. I’m a Luddite with technology. My home made ass saver thing on the rear and a cut down mud hugger on the front. I’m happy with them.

I'll be doing exactly the same as you've done, Mudhuggers front and rear. I did the same on my Remedy and found it a really good setup. Love the rear guard especially, works perfectly to protect the linkage bearings and stop a build up of muck around the chainstay bridge. I also reckon it helps to stop muck getting on the drivetrain too ?

I've had good results with the bolt on RRP and the official Fox ones. I would avoid cable ones where possible. I was so meticulous about invisiframing my lyrik and it still bloody rubbed through the paint. The crud guard XL is probably the most effective one I've ever used, but it makes an absolute racket, so I had to change it.

very happy with my sicomtb rear guard from the UK. Was quite expensive to get it down here in NZ but keeps the linkage clean which is my main aim. I don't often ride in really wet conditions, but its kept the spring mud off so far.
