Answered What is the trick to backpedalling an ebike?

I still haven't found a suitable stand so my 12 year old has a good excuse for not cleaning his chain regularly. I know you can back pedal with the wheel, I've seen it done when my dealer was pressure washing the chain and cassette, but I don't how to achieve it.

Thanks. I know nothing about bikes but if I leave it upto Tom, despite the fact that he saved, begged, borrowed and stole to buy the bike, nothing would get done. I now spend far too much time on YT and less on forums.
