I suppose it comes down to what a charge cycle is. We'll get a lot more charge cycles which are actually partial charges, but sufficient. If it isn't enough charge, then you can just charge more. If I needed more I'd charge more, as I do on those odd occasions.

It’s interesting trying to refine a science based undeniable irrefutable few sentences. Maybe something like -

As of late 2020, the best way to maintain the long range of a Specialized Levo or Kenevo is:

50% is roughly an equilibrium SOC - where the pack should sit - the target storage SOC. Therefore charge to 50% after rides, soon after not immediately after.

Ideally before rides: for low range charge to no more than 65%.
For medium range charge to 80%.
For maximum range charge to 100%.

The other method - charge to whatever whenever you freakin want. Sometimes that's what I do.

Oh, I don't dispute the principle, Wepn - no question that charging to c. 80% prolongs battery life - it's just that there's a bit of a disconnect in my mind between a battery which Specialized only warranties to 300 cycles, and a suggestion that we might get 1500 cycles out of it.
