What exactly is “E Bike Tuning” on a set of Fox Forks?!?

And finally, I only noticed these differences after testing the newer ebikes that were coming with them. Like the Yeti 160e, Megawatt etc… that was the kicker for me, and then I realised they were all running the e-tuned version.

As soon as I rode another bike (Kellys Theos) that didn’t have one I noticed pretty much straight away… felt more harsh.

IMO the e-tuned… it’s the best Fox fork they’ve made.
I've been looking at a new set of Fox forks for a steel HT build I'm doing now. I have a pair of Fox 34 Rhythm in my basket but noticed, yesterday, that they are 'E-MTB Tuned'.

Your comments @Rob Rides EMTB confirms that they are better but will they be OK on a steel hardtail? Just bought a pair and will see ;)

Hi Rob, thanks for that info.
I have just received a new factory 38 170mm 29 fork. I ordered it thinking it was the standard version but it turns out it's the ebike version that has arrived. I intend to use it on my analogue bike. I tend to ride pretty steep and technical trails eg Tweed Valley and Dunkeld in Scotland. I wonder if you think the standard version would be better for this type of riding or just keep the e-version. I'm not too heavy (about 75kg kitted up) so the lighter compression tune of the e-version might even be better from that point of view but I would want to loose out on mid stroke support on very steep trails.
Thanks for any advice,

Kris
