Agreed but its a start and to be honest I havent looked for apps for other motors which may exist, the ant+ thing needs to be broadcast by the motor for it to be read by whatever for example Garmin can read a "fake channel" broadcast by the levo battery, i think the shimano motor can do something similar via etube.
my point was the function (for some) is here now and my guess is it will expand very soon as manufacturers realise the potential and the consumer need for this type of stuff and as far as I understand the hardware is already in place in most motors torque sensors, cadence sensors and such like
