Every day going so slow when waiting on the new bike to arrive. Its got me buying stuff for the new bike I dont even need:

New Gloves
New Bag
New Water bottle
New shock pump (mines a bit old)
Full muc off cleaning bundle mainly just the ebike specific stuff to try it out. Heard good things.

Almost bought one of the insta360 cams just because thought it would be cool but managed to stop myself. Went out for a morning ride, gonna do an evening ride as well on my stanard mtb afterall it may not get as much use after the emtb arrives.

What do you guys do pass the time?

Maybe download the user manual for your bike and read up on the motor and power mode setups and other stuff unique to it. Download the manuals for your particular fork and rear shock, you might need them for later.

I actually don’t know if I can wait around like you have to. As soon as I made up my mind, I just had ring around to find the closest bike shop that had my choice in stock and drove all the way to the next city and picked it up that same day! ? I watched them pull it out of the box and they scanned motor and frame serial numbers together with my warranty details in the dealership database - then straight it went into my car! When I got home I just stared at it, haha! This was last year of course... pre-Covid lockdown when eBikes just were just sitting inside shop displays and people were just walking past them.

Actually a good idea to read up on all the sus etc and bike itself.

Unfortunately dont have that luxury near me theres not many bike shops and the ones there is didnt have this bike at all. Stock at the moment is so difficult to come by even online that was the only option.

Im like a little kid waiting for xmas at the moment, cant wait to get it!

Calisthenics like push-ups always a positive way to pass time. For motivation, I read about how the world record for non stop pushups is over 9000, reading the story of the former WR holder (now in 4th place). Basically, he said the journey to improve was a great experience and that he believes that every human has "adaptation trigger", which he sees as not being tapped by enough people.

I sometimes pass time by laughing at those who rebel/scoff at health and safety recommendations. I learn from others' failures, in other words. Example of this strange ass-backwards behavior from someone reported to be a smart, funny, and intense young man who loved a good debate: Was an Anti-Seat Belt Law Advocate Killed in an Automobile Accident?
