Sorry it's a 200mm rotor. I was looking at filing a bit back but didn't know if that'd mess it up. Is this normal practice or ?Sometimes its very close and the best solution is to file a bit off the mount.
Whats the rotor size ?. Upping that can give you the clearance too.
200mm rotor an I think 180mm mountWhat size is the rotor and what size is the mount? At a guess you have a 20mm mount but should have a 23mm.
Dont make it sound like a bad word The art of the fettle is a tradition held in high esteem in the MTB world.you won't have to BODGE anything.
Mine's the same, the steel bobbin will soon remove the excess aluminium.Sorry it's a 200mm rotor. I was looking at filing a bit back but didn't know if that'd mess it up. Is this normal practice or ?
Oh so you just ran it yeah..Mine's the same, the steel bobbin will soon remove the excess aluminium.
You've got SRAM though on yours havent ya? We both got same bike an coloured discs I thinkYeah. Weirdly, it doesn't clash on the Rail with Shimano brakes.
Did you wear down the shimanos or the SRAM calipers?Yeah, the KSL has Sram brakes, the Rail has Shimano brakes. I transferred the wheels from the Rail to the KSL when I bought it.
From a bit of research I heard SRAM are the least compatible with these discs but as long as it works.. did you change your mount or keep the SRAM one?Sram.
I really ought to chuck a Shimano caliper on there to see if it's the frame or the caliper at fault.
